Dr. Nathalie N. MWEUGANG was born in Ndoungué, Cameroon on the 18th March 1973. Educated at the University of Dschang, Mrs Nathalie obtained a Bachelor Degree (1997) and a Post graduate diploma (2000) in the Faculty of Sciences, and after completing her studies with a Master of Science (M. Sc.) Degree (2008) and a Doctorat/PhD. Degree (2016) in Biotechnology and Animal productions in the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (F.A.S.A.). Her areas of research include: Biotechnology and Animal productions, Animal Nutrition and Feeding, non-conventional protein sources in animal feeding, physico-chemical characteristics of animal products (meat, milk, eggs…), their transformation and conservation.
Mrs Nathalie has been during her Post graduate program, a member of the project “Nuclear technics for the improvement of ruminant productivity in Cameroon” carried in the town and the University of Dschang in 1999. Also, during this project, she has been trained on the use of intravaginal sponge to synchronise oestrus in West African Dwarf Goats. In 2004, she has been trained on the use of the Hohenheim Gas Test method for feed analysis in the Department of Animal production of the F.A.S.A. during her Master program.
Mrs Nathalie has attend some national and international conferences and workshop. She is author and coauthor of some publications in the field of Animal Feeding and Nutrition. Recruited as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Ngaoundéré on the 18th January 2012, she graduated as a lecturer on November 2016. She is an active member of Women’s Lecturer Association of the University of Ngaoundéré. Dr Mweugang is a native of the “NDE” Division of the western region of Cameroon. She is married and a mother of 4 children.
